On 6 June 2005, Air France’s Fréquence Plus and KLM’s Flying Dutchman loyalty programs bowed out to make way for Flying Blue. To celebrate Flying Blue’s 20th anniversary, all members will receive a 20% bonus on top of their miles earned on every Air France, KLM or Transavia flight taken between 6 June and 31 December 2025, provided they book their tickets between 6 and 20 June 2025. I’ll tell you all about the rules of this promotion.
Flights eligible for the 20% miles bonus
A bonus of 20% additional miles is offered for the following flights:
- marketed by Air France (AF flight number)
- marketed by KLM (KL flight number)
- marketed by Transavia (TO or HV flight number).
These flights must be operated by those same airlines. Code-share flights with other carriers are excluded. For example, an Air France flight operated by KLM will be taken into account, while an Air France flight operated by Delta Airlines will be ignored.
Travel must be booked in Economy, Premium Economy or Business cabin. Travel aboard La Première is not included in this promotion.
Flights must take place between 6 June and 31 December 2025 (flight take-off date).
Tickets must be purchased between 6 June and 20 June 2025 inclusive (ticket issuing date) through the usual distribution channels of the three airlines.

Every Flying Blue member can take advantage of the 20% extra miles bonus for an unlimited number of flights as long as the flight eligibility conditions are met. The usual rules of the frequent flyer program also apply.
Total miles awarded with the 20% bonus
The amount of Flying Blue miles earned for an Air France or KLM flight varies according to the member’s tier status. Taking into account the 20% bonus miles offered, the rate for earning miles on flights eligible for the promotion is as follows:

- Silver members will earn 7.2 Flying Blue miles per €1 spent (instead of 6 miles)
- Gold members will earn 8.4 Flying Blue miles per €1 spent (instead of 7 miles)
- Platinum members will earn 9.6 Flying Blue miles per €1 spent (instead of 8 miles)
- Ultimate members will earn 10.8 Flying Blue miles for €1 spent (instead of 9 miles).
For Transavia flights, a fixed number of Flying Blue miles are awarded based on the fare paid and the member’s tier status. Taking into account the 20% bonus, the total amount of miles credited is as follows:
