Flying Smart is written by Thibaud Bennet, frequent traveler and #avgeek.

Thibaud, who are you?

I’m a self-taught IT specialist and entrepreneur. Originally from Paris in France, I’ve been living on Djerba island in Tunisia since 2003 for professional reasons. I travel frequently to fulfil my commitments. And like many people, I enjoy sightseeing in my spare time.

Friends often asked me for advice on buying a flight ticket, my opinion on airlines, or tips on how to sort out complex situations. I launched Flying Smart in summer 2017 to share with as many people as possible the knowledge I’d acquired over the years about air travel from the passenger’s point of view.
