Using miles to stay at an Accor hotel

Some airlines offer the possibility of converting miles acquired in their respective loyalty programs into ALL Accor Reward points. Miles can therefore be used indirectly to pay for a booking or any other expense in an Accor property.

The conversion rate between miles and Reward points varies from one program to another, and the exchange is done in blocks.

It is often preferable to optimize the value of your miles by redeeming them for airline tickets. Before transferring miles to ALL, check whether you can make better use of them within the airline’s frequent flyer program. If not, converting them into Reward points is a good way to burn miles that are insufficient to get a more attractive redemption or are about to expire.

How to convert miles into Reward points?

Converting airline miles into ALL Accor Live Limitless Reward points is done on the website of the loyalty program that holds the miles. The procedure involves filling in a form with the amount of miles to be debited and the ALL Accor loyalty card number to be credited with the Reward points equivalent of the redeemed miles.

The member’s first and last names must strictly match between the two loyalty programs. Giving Reward points to a third person by converting miles is prohibited.

The completion time depends on the level of IT integration between the two partners. It usually takes several days or even weeks for Reward points to appear. So it’s best to plan ahead to ensure that the points will be available in the ALL account by the time you pay the hotel bill. An appreciable exception: converting Flying Blue miles into Reward points is instantaneous.
